very nice boat you got there - it's practical, safe and won't be crowded when you take the family and/or friends out.

good job!

Very nice ride! thumb I expect to see you fishing the TSA by next year laugh

I used to have a grab rail like yours but decided to get rid of it and add some flush mount rod holders. I don't miss that rail a bit! If you ever want to tackle that shoot me a PM and I can give you a little more info. Here's a few pics to give you an idea on what a before/after will look like on your ride. This is a 24ft CC.

I have 2 more in the very back of the boat on each side of the engine and another 2 up towards the front for a total of 14 flush mount rod holders.

Thank you so much! and yes the family aspect of this boat was the "big" reason we did it. I think it is so cool you and that Damfisherman are fishing partners. My wife and I can totally relate...we run a business, have kids and all the stress etc. and fishing is our release! Being able to share that together is priceless because our work and responsibilities actually keeps apart...you wouldn't think so... but it does.

Beautiful boat! Your boat is one of those boats I would see and think..."one of these days!"
Thanks for the idea....but for now I'm going to use this new boat as is and then slowly tweek it to suit my needs.
The 1st thing I will change is the leaning post maybe.....but I will use the one I have for awhile just to make sure I want it or not. Don't laugh....I've been river fishing all my life and I've never owned anything other than an aluminum boat designed for the river. I put it in the water today just run it and it felt like a big fast barge! I'll have to practice putting it on the trailer because this 1st go around didn't go so smooth....
I'll get used to it and have this sorted out before long....
TSA?

I bet that is a stange feeling stepping up from a river boat to that. Iv fished out of a 15' aluminum flatbottom my whole life until this fall when we stepped up to a 20' center console. I halfway dont know how to act with room to move around in the boat. Im sure that thing feels like a yacht. TSA is Texas Striper Association. http://www.texasstriper.com/

Nice boat - I am envious. I will look for you on the lake and maybe you can share some of your knowledge. I am a novice, just took up the sport but am really enjoying it.
