I've been in seas like that and it's no joke. Winter of 2000 crossing the Atlantic, you want to talk about the power of nature. It will make you realize just how small you are. On that note, I could still run them on pad in the triton without a hiccup

Been there done that, on station the bearing sea, 35 ft. seas. Steamed full ahead for 9 hrs. ended up 7 miles back from when we hit the storm. We had to tie ourselves to the rail on lookout watch. LOL Alot of the guys were sleeping with life jackets on. Fun times! LOL LOL <*)))>{

That's funny, the one I have rides as good or better than any boat I have been in.I must have got lucky. I've been in seas like that and it's no joke. Winter of 2000 crossing the Atlantic, you want to talk about the power of nature. It will make you realize just how small you are. Wow, reminds me of my coast guard days in alaska. I was on a 378' cutter (Mellon 717) She rode like a cadilac. The worst weather we ever saw was from San Diego to Hawaii. 50' plus waves and we saw a life rings flashing and had to make a U-turn in those to see if anyone was in the life ring. No one went overboard thank goodness. Crazy stuff. If I was still in I would surely be wearing a gopro all the time.
