A friend and I checked out Lake Weatherford today at the wall and the marina.

The lake is 3 feet low, which beats the 8 feet low before the rains. The lake is muddy and filled with debris. The vegetation which grew on the lake bed when it was down limits shoreline access, and leaves the marina as the only viable bank fishing.

The sand bass were missing from the wall. So were the bluegill.

The crappie were not biting today. There were about 15 people in the barge and I saw only one get a bite. He lost the fish. The bluegill were nowhere to be found. However, the 10-12 inch channel cats were biting well on cow's liver in the boat channel outside the barge.
