Thanks t mac for posting the pic. yes the fish was released even though there a is a fish cleaning table next to me. the scales on the boat wouldnt register the weight so we brought her back to the shop. kept her in the aerated tank thats behind me and released her sunday evening.

Hopefully you remember the limit on Texoma is only one fish per person of 30" or more. You said you had a 20, 25 and the 72 I am guessing you had them all in boat with you which would put you over your legal limit. Even with a second person in the boat.
Actually i did know the new regulations. i also never said that i had all those fish in the boat at the same time and there were 2 of us in the boat so we were ok. thanks for the reminder though.

Thank you. I wasnt offended by your comment and didnt mean for my reply to come across that way. fellow next door to us at the lake said someone got popped for that new regulation just the other day. according to my neighbor it cost him around 2 grand. dont know if i believe that, but i wouldnt want to take a chance.

Last time I know someone got a ticket for over their limit on small fish was $250 a fish! So it would not take long to rake up an expensive ticket.
