Limestone is so full of Crappie that when I lived in that area when my Church had fish frys they were crappie not catfish.

Im going to throw in some lakes not yet mentioned

1.Bonham
2.Coffee Mill
3.Ray Hubbard
4.lavon
5.Fork

These are all great crappie lakes but i have been lucky enough to find about a 10acre pond that will blow them all away. caught a limit last year that was all over 2 pds with quite a few pushing 3

Glad someone had T-Bend. Took pics of 5 largest I took during during January. Most went over 1 lb with the 5 largest going to a taxidermy in Tomball for a mounted stringer. Couldn't find ones pic but you get the idea.

Bass forage...Crappie forage...pretty similar. Not a coincident that every great Bass lake "usually" holds a good population of Crappie too. Some are just known more for one or the other.
