Till the Rangers pitchers and catchers report for spring training. 2010 was magical, but left me with a lot of doubts going into 2011, and J.D. And Nolan made the moves to get them back to the series. I can't say for sure they will win it this year, but I feel better going into this year than I did going into last year. I think the Rangers will have a better team than last years team if Darvish pans out, and they stay healthy. The problem is the other teams have done a lot to improve their rosters. The Angels should be one of the best teams in Majors not just the AL West. When CJ Wilson is your #3 starter, you have one heck of a staff. Then add Big Al, wow. The Tigers had a heck of a team last year, and they went and got a bigger and younger bat that the Angels did. Stack that on top of Verlander who has just about proven to be the best pitcher of the past four years. The one team that didn't make any moves that always does was (or wasn't) the Yankees. Anyone else noticed how old they are getting? I have a feeling they are headed to be like the Yankees of the 80's and their peak is done(and that peak was more like one big azz mountain range).
As for the senior circuit, I think the Phillies have it wrapped up, but that is what I said about them last year. They have the staff and the bats to beat anyone. They just suffered the same problem the Rangers did, they ran into as Mike Rhyner says "that Fing team."
