where is woodland springs? JW...if you go to the ponds private waters section at the bottom there are some threads about ponds holding bass. Twin Lakes near Lewisville and the 3040 ponds also near lewisville are supposed to hold big bass. I am in the process of trying out some of the ponds in carrollton.

Its a neighborhood ponds, but anyone can fish it, it in woodland springs community, if your familiar with the area, its the neighborhoods across the road from Tornado Terry's, have many ponds, best pond fish is on intersection Park Vista, and Bray Birch, and there is a pond on either side of the road but its the one if your going on bray birch, dead ends into park vista, its on your left, with the fountain.

SMB??? I live in WS and fish it (very) regularly and have never seen or heard of anyone catching a smallmouth in any of the ponds here.

Let me know when you go to those ponds and I will try and meet up with you. I work off of Luna Rd and there are a ton of ponds around here.

The ponds off of hebron and 35 that surround the appartments have some nice fish. I have personally caught a 9lb bass out of there. The pressure on them got really bad once they built the office suites on hebron next to the 7-11. The area where the offices are now used to be a field and noone would fish that part. I would and had days where i would catch 30 bass.

The ponds over on corporate dr have some nice fish too, but you will get run out of there on weekdays.

well ive caught some small LMB but the 3-4lbs was some type of bass but not a LMB or SMB. it was probably some weird mutant hybrid.

Caught some bass up to 5 lbs out of the hebron ponds but I believe they posted up no trespassing signs.

I usually go during the week, so if you work normal hours, you probably cant make it. PM me if you're off during the week, as I try out at least a pond or two every week.
