I was in the Dallas area this past week and found this forum helpful in finding places to fish. I didn't get to fish nearly as much as i wanted to due the the heavy rains and a bad cold.
I did check out the White Rock Lake area, Bethany Park, Twin Lakes, Bachman Lake and Bob Woodruff Park. Manage to catch only a couple bass.
I do a lot of bank fishing in my area in central Illinois. Thought i would share a few pics from one of my better bank fishing experiences. Weather was rainy, windy with temps in the low 40's on that mid April day in 2011. Before the day was over i caught 19 bass with 17 of them between 3 1/2 lbs to 6 lbs. All caught on a 3/8 pumpkin jig and a black/blue craw as a trailer. This lake is a public lake that is opened from April 1st thru September 30th.






If any one get ups this way, i can share some areas you might want to check out.

Damn, i wish i could get up there. Gas is higher than giraffe p#ss!. Anyhow I figure ill just stay down here and wait till the sandies start runnin in Hachie,
