You guys haven't seen me post any catch lately mainly because I can't remember what a thump feels like. But seriously, it's because I've been so busy to even wet a jig for a long time.
Today, a friend of ours, Beth, invited my better 1/2 and I to hang out at a park to do some trout fishing just to break way from the norm. You know, the ones that TPWD released in various ponds for winter fishing; limit of 5 per person and gotta keep what you landed...

Anyway, we did a ok for 2hrs spent...ended with 13 for the 3 of us...

Here is my wife with some rainbows. These aren't crappie, but by the grin of her face, you can tell we had a great time...Thanks Beth for a wonderful morning...

Man, those will eat nice. The ones I've caught from the ponds here were way smaller than those. Hope they tasted good.
