All this new water will be great later for spawning but it SUCKS now. Three trips to the office with no bites at all.

Oh'well, that's life.

How's the water clarity at LL? Is the whole lake muddy water?

Yep, that was my thinking while it was raining. It will sure be worth it this spring, though. My best protected spring spot was not going to work with the low water. It's looking good now.

Earnest, I thought it was just me. I was there yesterday for 2 hours and not a hit. I thought they would have settled in by now.

You know all those fish are moving towards the current (primarily with the feed source – shad) and everyone follows.

That water flow has just about stopped – so it should be back to the boat houses very soon.

I caught one keeper at the office Monday with 2 bites in 2 hours and felt very lucky. Previous 2 days were zero bites.
If Earnest can't catch them no one can. I probably try again tomorrow.

Looks like they pulled the plug and let the water out. According the COE data, we lost nearly 3 feet of water since the rain.

Glad to see I'm not the only one having trouble finding them. They gotta move back in to our normal spots at some point. Has been over a week since I had a descent day. Fished 5 days and caught only 4 keeper size fish. Have been catching a lot of very small ones but the bigs have definately moved out for now. Bout to go for round 6. Gotta keep at it and it certainly can only get better because it doesn't get any worse than this!
