My wife and i met up with gonzalezlg at little ridge and he and his boy took off in there boat and the wife and i took off in ours. it was a very tuff day out there but the first setup did produce 2 nice size eaters. After 30 min of nothing we moved and then moved and moved like so many did this week. The fish were very scatterd. We tried deep and shallow. At around noon we caught some fresh bait and decided to drift. first drift produced a nice eater and then my big one of the day of 30#. around 4:30 we set up our last drift of the day, we started at the damn and it worked out just right that it took us all the way back to little ridge. during this final drift i caught a nice 18# and a 10# and my wife caught a 6# and then her new PB of 31#. I was very proud of her because the rod he hit was draging about 250 yards behind the boat. She was so tired after pulling in this one. She asked me if she could take a break about half way in with him. Of course i told her no. All in all it was a slow but very great day on the water with the wife.[img]
