this was definitely NOT on the trip we took.

I won $900 on a $1 slot up in OK a couple of years ago. Aside from that, I ain't got nothing else to brag about.

time for a another Winstar trip

my favorite was the one my wife won.
I'd played a $5 and dropped about $250 in it. My wife walked by and I told her to put some money in the machine while I went to the ATM. High roller Davis put in $20 and won $1400 on the 2nd spin. You'd think she'd just won the texas lotto from the way she screaming and carrying on.

My pride took a hit then, and hasn't recovered.

9,000 on keno, hit 3 times and got 7,000 2 times bunch of others all on the same machine in the same night in colorado. walked out with a little over 46,000.00 in cash in pockets. got an escort to the hotel (comp) and limo rides, central city cop escorted me to I-70 the next morning.

Ill play craps... but thats about it.

May $5 on the nickel machine at the Horseshoe with OF. Went by myself one time and just broke even when I added in the free buffet.

Smart man. Think about the amount of space that slots take up in the average casino...and then liken the casino floor to retail space. You want the max revenue available per sq. foot. Now, think again about what takes up the most floor space....

I had some chick that was working at winstar say that in her experience, the machines that hit better were the ones that had every machine in the pod playing at the same time. not sure if that's true or not.

There's a reason I sometimes play slots, though...and it aint to win money. Sometimes it's just to relax with a drink after a meal and others, it's because I have a lady with me who likes them, and at other times it's to meet a lady who happens to be playing nearby.

actually hit about 15 jackpots on it, was the first night the machine had been online (new 1.00 bet). they closed it down after I left, had it saved for me till I got to the casino (was a vip member).
best night I have ever had at anything.

I usually don't play the slots but we were on a small cruise ship and the one [censored] table was full so I sat down at a quarter slot to wait for an opening and hit a $500 jackpot on about the 4th pull. I cashed in and went to the room a winner that night.

I do not play slots anymore, but when I was younger, I hit a $375 winner at the Desert Inn! "The Desert Inn has heart, the Desert Inn has heart"!

Walking through a casino in Vegas, the gf put $20 (4 spins) in a $1 slot. Nothing. When she got up, I put a $5 ( 1 spin) in and won $750. In another casino about 2 hours later, she dropped another $20 in a $1 slot. Nothing. I put $5 in and won another $750.

I played behind her most of that trip.

Only play the machines on a Monday morning....seriously!
