Where did ya'll go and what did ya'll do? Anything noteworthy or fun?

Adrian and I went to Northern California for 2 weeks - San Fran and Sonoma! Toured San Fran and absolutely LOVED THE PLACE!!! We left there and went and spent a week in Sonoma! The whole trip was awesome!

10 years later and we still feel like we're fresh off of that trip!

Disney world. Honestly, best week of my life. All inclusive, great food, always something to do, always a show to see. Only downside, we got married when we were 20, so we couldn't drink.

It was nice, as long as you stayed near the resorts. scary stuff off of them though. People shaking you down, thinking you are the rich American.

We flew to Vegas, got married there and then spent the next couple of weeks going to Yosemite, stayed there a few days, then to San Fran for a few days, then down Hwy 1 (Pacific Coast Hwy) then over to the Grand Canyon for a few days and then back to Vegas and flew home. Still married to her for 27 years now. (We did put 1,800 miles on the rental car though)

WE got married in Vegas, too! We used the Chapel at Mandalay Bay! It was awesome!

We spent three nights in Galveston. Plenty of good grub (UNLIMITED TRIPS THROUGH THE LINE AT LUBY'S!!!(It rhymes with boobies!)), the beaches, the ferry during the day AND at night, Lake Jackson Sea Center ...

For right at $500 we drove down there and spent five days of not having to cook or clean or do anything aside from deciding what to do next. It wasn't real fancy, but we ain't fancy people. It was layed back and relaxing. Just right.

Got married in Arlington TX, spent honeymoon night at the downtown Dallas Hilton. Went back home the next day and back to work Monday.

Alton, We got married at "Little Chapel of the Flowers" by a preacher who just so happened had grown up in Fort Worth!

Next time any of you guys are in Las Vegas, say "Hi" to my money for me!

We took 2 weeks and drove to Disney World from Houston. Stopping along the way in New Orleans, for a day or two on the way and Destin for a few days on the way back spending a week at Disney.

We were basically kids so that was a really good place for us. Plus it always meant a lot to us as we went back throughout the years with our daughter as she grew up.

We spent our 20 year anniversary there last March 'cept there wasn't much "Fantasyland" going on our daughter(19) and her boyfriend as well as my MIL were all with us for the trip. It was still a blast and will be a special place we can share with kids and grandkids for our entire life.

Heather and I went to NorCal also. We flew into San Fransisco then took US 101 up into OR and WA. We didn't have any specific plans, only places to spend the night. If we saw something along the way that was interesting we stopped. Took alot of back roads all the way out to Redding. We took CA 299 from Redding to Eurka, that was the prettiest piece of the world I have ever seen.

Tuscany Italy. Then took the train to Venice. Stayed in little towns along the way, ate great food, drank way too much wine and had a great 3 week honeymoon....:)

Ixtapa, Mexico. Stayed at the Westin--GREAT hotel. All rooms are ocean view, private balconies, private beach separated from town by the rocky point in the pic below (meaning NO annoying vendors or crowds). Love to return someday--maybe for our 20th in a few years.

I spent 3 years of my life in California and had to opportunity to get to see almost all of it! It truly is a beautiful place. Too bad the people are weird. Just 20 million too many of them and yes, Eight & Change, Redding to Eureka is a stunning drive !!!

If you ever get the chance, GO to Yosemite Nat'l Park. You won't regret it! (but only from middle of May to Sept.!!)

The wife and I drove to San Antonio in about a 10 year old Cutlass. We pulled into the valet parking at the Mansion Hotel on a flat. The guy came out with a bicyle pump to air it up and we just grabbed our Walmart luggage and went inside. On the way back we took a picture of the odometer turning 100K. I was 20, she was 19 and we didn't have 2 nickles to rub together. That was 24 years ago and we still laugh about it.

We stayed 4 days in Port Aransas. It was all we could afford. We did have some fun on the beach though while nobody was lookin'.

Two nights at Lake Chelan in a mountain cabin, then a week at Ocean Shores in WA State.

Did the Oregon/Northern California Hwy 101 trip at 10 year anniversary, and man it was wonderful.

Married at St.Cecilas in Oak Cliff drove to Denton to stay at the Holiday Inn for our honeymoon that was in 1976,we also didn't have two quarters to rub together as I recall we used the quarters in the vibrating bed !Good Times !

38 Special concert at Reunion Arena. Home afterwards and off to work the next day. We had a blast though.

Key West. Beach Wedding and a week stay lots to do and lots of fun.

Spent 7 days in St. Lucia.... beautiful place.

One week in Cancun. Good times.

7 day carribean cruise . we enjoyed every minute of it! We are cruise junkies now! Want to go on more once our son is older!

A week in Cancun. Took six friends with us and partied like rock stars!

Stayed in Curacao for 10 days. It was amazing

We took a cruise out of New Orleans on the Conquest, which is now out of Galveston after Katrina. It was outstanding except for Jamaica, where we were offer Pot, Coke, and Mushrooms by a cabbie!

Got married in Arlington, flew to San Francisco and then drove to Incline Village on the north end of Lake Tahoe for several days. Then we drove back to the SF area and spent several days there (hotel in Sausalitto). We loved it so much we've been back a number of times since.

Got Married in Vegas, and Honeymooned in Memphis.

We spent a week in Savannah, Georgia.

We were living in Germany at the time and went to grand canary islands. It was a good but interesting trip.

First the island was beautiful good food, sightseeing, beaches and mountains. The interesting we took a hike through the small "desert" on the island and there were random naked dudes just wondering around. Wife got prickley heat rash which is painful and sucked for her. Wife got pregant on the trip! We got to see the greatest band of all time, per our hotel (ABBA!)

we got married in a dance hall outside of San Antonio, and 2 days later, we left for Rancho Leonero, which is about 45 miles north of Cabo. Very secluded fishing resort on Baja's East Cape. Everything is included, except for booze and fishing charters, but both are VERY reasonably priced. For 5 days, including flights, we were in that honeymoon for less than $2k.

we have returned once so far, and as soon as our daughter is born (June 7th ish) and is old enough to leave with my folks for a week, we are headed back.

We rented a condo on the beach in Port Aransas for 9 nights. Had a BLAST! We love that little island.

7 night Western Carribean cruise...Best vacation I have had to this date.

Getting married at the top of the stratosphere in June then off to Costa Rica for a week. Cannot wait! Never been to Vegas or to CR.

4 days at Rockport. We got reservations at a nice hotel down there. The day we showed up the lady in the front asked if we minded being upgraded to the royalty suite.....the family who reserved it needed 2 rooms that linked together and our reservation was for one of those. We traded at no extra cost. It was one of the most relaxing fun trips I've ever been on...I've been all over the world so that says alot.

7 nights in Aruba. We rented a jeep for 3 days and did our own tour of the whole island. Good times.

we took a cruise out of miami to the bahamas. wife was sea-sick for two of the 6 days

we did that a few years later. threw our snorkling gear in the back of the jeep and drove all over aruba. the interior of that place looked like a hell hole

We went on July 8,1978 to the Texas State Railroad,an authentic train that goes from Rusk to Palestine.Notice the date.It was authentic to the point of having no air conditioning.It was around 103 that afternoon.They had these hand fans for a buck apiece.I wish I had a nickel for everyone of those that sold.
And Kens Pizza in Tyler,we ate there on our honeymoon night and she got sick.You owe me big time.

Not married any longer but got married at and spent two weeks at the Four Seasons Hualalai Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Spent a night in Hot Springs, then on to Pigeon Forge, TN for a couple nights. I was working for the railroad then as a locomotive mechanic and got a call in Millington, TN at a DuPont plant. She dropped me there and I rode the train back home a couple weeks later.

My wife and I flew in to Oakland, drove a rental to Monterey, spent a few days there before taking the 101 to San Francisco for a few days and then on to Sausalito and the Napa valley.
Went back 11 years later when we treated my parents to a 50 year aniversary vacation and did it all over again.
Can't wait to take another trip.

I was allowed the weekend off and we had no money, so we went to Santa Fe. Everyone chipped in for a nice Hotel in Santa Fe. Back to work on Monday, married on Saturday. Woo Hoo.

Eureka Springs, AR.....we stayed in the Chantilly honeymoon suite. That place was a sticky mess when we left.

All-inclusive trip to Riviera Maya (near Cancun) for 5 days, 4 nights. It was all we could afford, and we could only afford that because one of my best childhood friend's mom was a travel agent and got us a steal of a deal, and we were willing to go on the cheapest week of the year, which was 2 months after the wedding. It was fun, but I wish we could have stayed longer.

We went crappie fishing in Arkansas. Lake Greeson.

Hot springs Ar to a nice resort tucked on a lake or something (been a while) and from there to the Nantahalla forrest in Western NC to another resort with white water rafting.

We went to Colorado, driving the first Hyundia Excel, 4 banger.
Going over the dived we were going 1.4MPH, GPS, that was all I could get out of it. Got passed by a 36 foot Travel home.

Going downhill as the sun set we saw a lot of deer and sheep on the mountinside, it was amazing.

I forget a lot of things but that sunset is stamped into my soul.
