I went to Squaw creek Sunday.
He bought a 20 foot pontoon boat.
The fishing was slow mid day I caught five cats.
My daughter in law caught one.
I have had better luck in the spring.
The fish were in the 3 pound range.
I saw Mr whiskers caught limits and one other boat with limits.
I used chum, frozen shad, shrimp and chicken livers.
The only thing that I can think of that the guide
Mr whiskers was fishing holes that he repeatedly baited out!
He was fishing with his own punch bate.

Any thoughts or sugestions please!

Hmmm......Maybe try Mr. Whiskers stinky bait....?

did u fish in the 30 to 40 ft water again? I am still waiting on warmer weather

The big question is what depth were you fishing. From what ive heard most of the fish were still deep-....someone a week ago did real well in 30 foot. Im not so sure they are shallow yet.

Sure did .... 32 to 40 ft of water ... big fish are roaming around ... I will throw this out there !!! Stay in the warmer water ... the trees are not working right now ... And the rock bed, just west of the spillway, is pretty good right now. I didn't chum the last 2 weekends ...just put bait down! They are there. We did do a little better right at 30 ft this last Saturday. Marvs and CJS's new MONSTER bait worked good. But CJ'S NEW CRAWFISH flavor bait KICKED ALL THEIR BUTTS.........
