I just saw a lake level report that said Proctor was 1.38' over full and yet Lake Leon upstream from there was still over 6' low. Can that be? http://wiid.twdb.state.tx.us/ims/resinfo/BushButton/lakeStatus.asp

According to the Corps of Engineers map Lake Proctor is fed by at least 2 creeks in addition to the river. Also, there is a lot of watershed between the two lakes.

Wow that lake has been over 8 feet low for at least five years. Glad to see it come up. I bet the fishing will very good this spring.

As of 2/1/12, the Corps was holding the level at 1 foot over the spillway to clear debris at downstream bridges before releasing any more water.

There is a deviation in place to hold Proctor up to 2' above conservation elevation of 1164.0 until February 15th to perform a hydrographic survey.
