Well, I was debating last week on weather or not to make the long drive to Monticello or Lake Fork this past weekend for a couple of days of fishing. I hink I made the right choice by picking Fork! We did not catch many fish over the weekend, but the quality bite on the jig was there. Caught this fish Saturday afternoon at 2:40 PM on a ¾ oz black 7 blue Santone Jig. She measured out at 24.25 inches long and 21.5 inches in girth. That's a nice fish man!! My fishing buddy and I will be down at fork for 4 days of solid fishing the end of February. I hope we land one like that. If not i'm ok with that I'm just looking forward to getting away from the everyday grind of work. Been looking forward to our upcoming trip for 2 months now.

I have a hard time finding them in Wichita Falls. I think there are a few places around fork sell them. I would just order some on-line.
We where using a black & red Zoom super chunk and Gene Larew Howg Crawls as trainlers.

Thats awesome, I cant wait to go in the morning!!  We have yet to break the 10+ mark at Fork. We are gonna be there for 2 days to try our best again. We shall see, if not it's always a blessing to get out on Fork anyways.
