I would imagine it has slowed some with the water rise and the off colored water. Should be decent this weekend if we don't get anymore rain.

I was out there Sunday and caught one in the two hours I was able to be there. Saw 12 caught in that same two hour period. The water didn't look nearly as bad as I thought it would, but the pressure was also up to 30.45 while I was out there, so that may have played a part in the slow fishing.

Good looking fish! Were these caught from the barge or from the boat slips? I've got some vacation time and I need to practice my catch and release technique.

Thanks Brian!! I've got my gear ready for Tuesday morning. I haven't fished for crappie in in probably 5 years. Do you know what fishing line that hasn't been used does in 5 years? It breaks off the reel very easily!

With everybody at Winnsboro I can see why this place was empty! There was a reason, it was slow!!!! I tried my best for 5 long hours and could catch only 7 fish. 2 were keepers and gave them to an elderly gentleman. Several others came in and caught a few more keepers.
