Start by boiling Hempseed and Deer Corn. When the Hempseed releases the oils and you have a healthy portion of "Goo" on top, Add in Cracked Corn and Bridseed. Give it 15 minutes from there.

Mine is super simple(when I'm actually spodding, lately all i've been doing is spombing calf manna and range cubes)
Cracked corn, Pig Out hunting game attractant (berry flavored), chili powder, and water. Soak it in a bucket for like an hour and you're good to go. Stick a PVA nugget in the spod to reduce bait spillage

I thought someone would remember the old CAG thread about Goose Poop, guess I'm too old? Try this: 1) 3 1/4 lb of dry hemp 2) 1 1/4 lb of pigeon conditioner(a mix of small seeds, peas and maize) 3) A jar of chili powder and a jar of crushed chili peppers 4) Sea Salt 5) finally some Nash Liquid Food *************** OR ****************** 1) You could just toss out some range cubes and make sure they are the ones that sink "80%".

Those method blasters are awesome! You can get a method ball over 100 yards with no more effort than a normal cast.

I use a few different ones for different purposes, but my favorites are a Korda Skyliner and lately, the Spomb. Spomb has it's up sides and downsides, so I continue to use both.

The Spomb does drop a good amount of boilies in the same spot that's for sure. What are some of the dowsides besides it wont open up 10' above a kayaker like a loose method ball does.

It won't open sometimes, and creates quite the disturbance when dragging it fully loaded through the swim. It also opens with the gentle push of the button by anything that punches the button. A few weekends ago I accidentally let it go back on the cast too far and it sprayed boilies absolutely everywhere, all over my bivvy, on my bedchair, everywhere.

Yesterday I used this: 3 parts Soakead and/or boiled field corn 2 parts calf manna and/or other feed/carp pellets 1 part Soaked and/or boiled wild bird seed I can't say it was an outstanding success, fish-wise, but I liked the way it provided attractants and 'cloud'. It did bring in some buffs... we just didn't catch them!

The nice thing about the spod, for me, is I can put more bait precisely (+- 5 ft or so) where I want it (next to my hookbaits!) whereas my methodblasting is less accurate.
