Great but a little pricey.

Awesome product and very well made. There are a bunch of different models and various price ranges. Give Kevin a call at his shop he will take great care of you. I have a two piece for my bass boat and a 21 for my coast boat. Love em

For a flats boat on the coast, stiffy bar none but.... For bass fish that's a different story. Because of obvious storage constaints the only stiffy option is a two piece and having to take it apart and put it back together over and over again will get old. Not to mention the cost and weight....

That being said, at ICAST a couple years back I came across a pole I was really impressed with. A fraction of the weight, a third of the cost of a stiffy and only one piece (fits in most rod lockers). Initially, I was concerned with the locking mechanism but it has yet to ever slip and I have used and abused it. No affiliation, just a very satisfied customer. www.thesuperstick.com
