Well after 4 straight weekends of just hammering the fish today was an off day. Today was SLOW!!!. Frank and I got out about 9:30 AM and we struggled the whole day. we may have caught 20 fish total with only 8 keepers. Would have been 9 but Frank lost one at the boat. We were thinking that the water rising and yesterdays cold front slowed em down. But it was good to get out on the lake. The wind picked up more than I expected so it was a little tougher than the past month weather wise. Saw a lot of TFF people out today. Mike rap trap and his son Adam were with Randy, J.V. and his clients. Terry and his crew showed up. Rockwall Roy and his partner, Saw Filet maker at the ramp but didn't get a chance to say Hi, Paul and his crew were out later. And some I can't remember off hand. Good to see you guys again even though the fishing was slow. Thats the way it goes sometimes. Frank I had a blast today once again. If I missed anyone sorry I am worn out. My I pilot left leg had a work out today Here is our catch. Two 15 inchers in there --LOL==

Great to see you guys out there today. A bad fishing day.is always better than a day stuck in the house listening to the wife yapping all day.

Keith, your bunny looks hungry and very happy! Nice report! Sounds like the fish were lockjaw like yesterday when I talked to Frank at 3 today. That bottom sandie looks like she is nine months pregnant and ready for Rowlett Creek

Gene I thought that was you but too far away to tell for sure. Todd you are right they are nine months and ready to explode. The wind was almost brutal yesterday I can feel my hands and face are really wind burned. tex that was just enogh for a good dinner. Banker, Roy your right any day on the lake is better than being at home doing chores --LOL-- Maybe next weekend they will kick back in one more time.

February (and late January) is my weakest month of the year. Sure there may be a couple of good days thrown in the mix. That and all the new water spells disaster. Sunday did look like a beautiful day to be on the water. Unfortunately, my spousal unit had other plans for the day. Thanks for the report anyway. Thank Don. I am thinking that the fish are getting ready to spawn so they are heading north. The fish were scattered yesterday not like the past month. There were only small schools on the graph. By the way " Spousal Unit" That is a good one made me laugh never heard that one before --LOL--

I had my Spousal Unit with me. We had a good time out yesterday didnt catch any fish but still had a good time being on the home lake again. My brother and the guys at Bay View were tearing up the Crappie yesterday.

Me and my nephew were out there for a couple hours in the afternoon. Couldn't buy a bite, but we had fun anyway.
