My eyes are not what they once were but using the camera at night to hitch trailers just got a little easier. I'm ready to see what it looks like backing the boat down a long
dark ramp.

I put some of those on and like them for hitching up the trailer and for general lighting the way behind the truck, but they didn't help much for backing down the ramp. Led light strips on the trailer fixed that thumb

If those are the bully lights, they aren't waterproof and will get water trapped inside them. I cured that by taking the plastic housing apart and sealing the edges with silicone.

White Night is who manufactured them. They're web page says they are water tight but I'm thinking I've gone too far if I get them submerged.

Most of the time yes, but I've had to back down some really long flat ramps in recent times. Those look to be a better product than the Bully lights.

White Night is a very good light, however I was afraid I would back them into the tailor so I followed blu-rangers idea and installed leds on the back of the trailer. Works well on the dark ramps.

Blessings,

Jim

I have some of those on my truck. They are great if you live in the country. I've had them for a few years now. They are definitely NOT waterproof unless they have changed the design. I've had to replace both the bulbs in mine after they burned out. Also cleaned the dust out that had accumulated inside over time.

Those are pretty nice. I assume you made the connections water tight. Did you just use the 3M tape that came on them?

Toxarch, Yes on the connectiona and I cleaned the surface really good and used the 3m backing that was on the lights. So far so good, no problems.
