I was in the asian market looking for some buffalo and I saw that they had fresh chicken and duck hearts. My mind just start to think about it.

Has anyone ever use chicken or duck hearts for bait?

Chicken hearts are ok but liver's better . About 6" of full intestine threaded onto a treble hook works pretty well for me.

I have caught some very good channel cats on chicken hearts. I wish there was some place close where I could get some.

Every fish I caught yesterday (two channels and one blue) came on chicken breast soaked for a few days in red dead spray.

Have caught plenty on chicken hearts.

Duck season has just ended so I'll be trying all the hearts I've saved for bait now. See how it goes.

have used chicken livers and hearts with success especially pond fishing. have eaten duck but never tried them for cats. chicken gizzards will also work, but not near as well.
