Wanted: Boat Trailer for 22' Center Console

Hey fellers, i posted this in the classifieds as well, but thought I would throw it out here since alot more you own center console boats.I need a new/used trailer for my boat. The boat is a 22' Nitro Bay 2200 center console, tunnel hull design. The trailer I have now is tandem axle with hydraulic brakes and is rated for 7,000 lbs. I looked into rebuidling the trailer but not sure I want to take that task on. The acuator is bad, brake lines are bad, axles are corroded and just burned a spindle (which is integrated with the axle). I don't want to spend an arm and a leg so if there is a used one somewhere that would be awesome. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated!

Abt 6 years ago, I did call around looking for a new trailer for my old 18 ft Kenner and the brand new price I got was around $2400. I am thinking the new tandem is around $3000? Just guessing. Good luck buddy!

Thanks Todd. I've been looking but it's hard to find prices anywhere. I could rebuild it but then I would still have the old frame. Time for an upgrade!!

Had the same thing last year...The trailer just died. We called some boat dealers, there are a few used ones out here. Try that big dealer in Roanoke (DFW Alliance?),they had a few.
Couldn't find one that would work for my Blue Wave. RoadMaster in Ft. Worth built me one. Was not real cheap, but it is built well and the piece of mind is priceless.

Call McGill propeller & welding in Lewisville 972-436-7498. They're a Roadrunner dealer and will quote you an exact price on the exact trailer you would want built.
I'm guessing a brand-new custom built trailer like you describe would be about $3,500 - give them a call.

John, try looking in the Lake Charles Craig List. I work down there and I have been looking at boats and see Trailers all the time. Would not be a problem to bring it back to Rockwall for you as I come home every other weekend. Find one and I can look at it for you and take some pictures. Maybe even Lafayette area. Check it out and let me know?<

There is a tandem axle trailer with a 22' junker boat on it on Craigslist Dallas today for $1500.

Is the frame, bunks, etc still in good shape on the trailer? If so you should be able to put new axles with electric brakes on that trailer for about $2000 if you are able to mount the axles yourself. I just put two 10K axles on my 40ft float for $2600. If you decide to buy another trailer and want to get rid of that one let me know. I may be interested in buying it.
