Wish we had a topic or thread which dealt with boat, motor and prop set up. Heck even trolling motor and prop, how quite is etc.? Give speeds, info on holeshots, handleing.
I'd like to conpare mine to what others are getting out of there boat.
I have a 2001 Cobra 201D by Viper/225 Optimax , would like to get the most out of my boat. Maybe the best way is to compare to others.
Just a thought...What do ya think?

Rather deal with facts and not opinions, if possible. Like to even compare one boat to the next may influence opinion on next boat purchase...
If there is a existing place on web please advise
Thanks

you will need rpm at wot, gps speed, jackplate info/prop in relation to pad, boat/engine, and prop model.

steve is on here a lot and is the prop pimp of the tff. he knows his stuff.

You'll get some real truthful advice here, what throws people off, no two anythings are exactly identical, hulls, motors, and especially props. I've taken ten brand new in the box props to the lake and gotten ten different results.

All you can do is take what you've got and make it run it's best, which takes time and effort to find out.

Thx hopalong, I have been in contact with Steve. Bought a prop from him and he is helping me improve my set up now.
But Pat you just blew my whole idea away. Didn't realiize you could take two same boats set them up the same and get alot different results. I really had planned to looked at each set up to help improve on mine.
