Ooooh cold muddy water really bites...Best advise I have on the subject is burn enough gas to find some pockets of clear water. After a few days the creeks and flowing run offs will be much clearer than still water...

White spinnerbaits with Colorado blade, traps, rattling jig, big dark soft plastics.

Oh, and fish shallow feeding areas. In my opinion fish will feed shallower in muddy water as there is more light and it warms up more.
