I don't know if it was already posted but I thought this was pretty cool. How lucky are they that he happened to be at the right spot at the right time?

Rockwall Cty officers are some of the best LEO's I have every witnessed and dealt with. That deputy is a hero! he put his life on the line to save those two girls, and did it with only seconds to spare!

Great job by the deputy. How in the heck did they drive down the boat ramp? Did they then move to the back seat or were they there the whole time? Something seems strange about the story.

I wonder if you'd say the same thing to an ER doc eating a donut in the recovery room who just saved your life.

Just saw that story on the news. Great job sir. Does anyone know what boat ramp they drove off? Last spring we were coming in after fishing an evening tournament there at Dalrock and some guy backed his suv too far down the ramp. By the time the wrecker got there to get the vehicle out, it was totally submurged. The driver was able to get out too.

Awesome rescue by the Deputy! He must have been running on adrenaline. If any of you have ever been in 54 degree water, I can tell you that your body does not move well in that cold.

They were lost and on the cell phone getting directions, NO WAY A DOUGHNUT EATER WOULD HAVE GONE INTO THAT COLD WATER!

No doubt, they had no reason to ever look around there for them.

I wonder if the car was shallow enough to get hit by a prop of someone launching, or would it take someone side imaging sometime down the line to finally locate them. Scary indeed.

Another honda civic ran its car into the water from the texas queen boat ramp. I was fishing the marina when the cop was telling me the story of what happened.

When the officer arrived on scene he said a man was sitting on the top of the car, the officer said "you need to swim to the bank" the man replied "no, its a hybrid, it will start" hahaha
