Being new to SA I was wondering what would you recommend for cable, internet, satellite? Always had cable(comcast)from where I used to live. I've read negative things about TWC here. Never had a satellite because where I was from the weather really affected the reception that's why I went with cable. I've been told that around SA the bad reception problem isn't a factor since storms aren't that prevalent. Any recommendations?

TWC is ok, but if you favor the NFL Network, forget it. TWC has played stupid with the NFL for years. I just changed to ATT Uverse and it's a good. I like it better than TWC so far. Not sure if it is available in SA, but I would check.

San Antonio was actually the very first city to have U-verse.

Keller was actually one of the very first cities for FIOS, as Verizon's NOC is out here is Southlake.

San Antonio is considered a very "patient" market area, so we rolled it out there as it's not a huge market area, and we could get the kinks worked out. At the time we also had our at&t HQ in San Antonio, so all those factors made it an easy choice. In the early days we sure had some issues too.

What makes them a patient market area? Just the size, or are there other factors involved?

I think it's just the laid back attitude of the folks in that area to be honest

I got Uverse with the wireless cable. Now I can put a tv on any wall in the house and not worry about cable connections.
