How's the water level in the Atoyac near Sam Rayburn?
We have found whites running there in the past.

welcome I'm sure someone will chime in!

I have not a clue where you're talking about.

When I was in college, we used to kill in the Attoyac. There was somebody posting in Open Freshwater about it last year. Might throw a post on over there too. Let us know how ya do.

Oh yeah, the Angelina used to be good too right at the 59 bridge this time of year too.

The Attoyac and the Angelina were almost too low to fish for Sandies last spring. Now that Big Sam is eleven feet low I doubt there is any water in either of the rivers.

The last time I drove across the lake on 103, last fall, all you could see of the lake was dry bottom.

A real shame as both of those streams are great SandBass fishing in normal times. Both streams would have to get to flood stage for a long while to bring Big Sam up to normal.

Just found out they have had some rain in the Rayburn area. There is water under the 103 bridge. They are killing on white bass in the Angelina. Sounds like I need to start packing up and go now rather than wait until March.
