I have started using them the last couple of years. I probably have 15 or so now, I bought some of the Speed Spools and The Tournament Pro Speed Spools, SO far I have been very pleased with them. They are very light and compact and can sling a mile. I had one issue where i didn't press the spool release good and stripped a pinion gear. I sent it back to them and they fixed it and sent it back to me the same week so yes, I've gave them a hard workout and other than my goof they have held up nicely. The tournament pro only weighs 6.7 oz so its super light weight. When i sent it in they asked me if I wanted them to replace the machined alum pinion with a brass pinion and i said nah, leave it it stock. I like the weights of them. So to answer your questions yes, i love them and will buy more
I've got a tourney pro I'm using right now and like it a lot. If it lasts, when my revo's finally die I may replace them with more lew's, they are excellent feeling reels to me.

Anyone fish the higher gear ratio ones? Lookin for a high speed real that keeps the power. Hooking good fish deep and they bring the bait to you soo fast it is hard to keep up. I want the speed but dont want to sacrifice the power to handle big fish alot either.

Yes they are also good thats the ones I use and they are sweet.
The new MG series 7:1 are awesome. They come standard with larger cranking handles so power is not a problem. We have been ripping traps with them and absoulutely no complaints.Ive used the slower ratios on deep diving crankbaits and am totally satisfied as well. Money well spent!
