King Arthur...The fight on the frozen lake
Pearl Harbor...so-so movie, but the attack is staged well AND the movie depicts the Doolitle Raid.

Ooooh.... Good choice! This was the first movie that I ever saw in Waco. This was in the summer of ‘69. Back in the Summer of ‘69 my Mom and I from Tyler to Waco to join my Dad, who had joined the aviation maintenance faculty at what was is now Texas State Technical College (TSTC) in January of ‘69. Back then TSTC was a part of the Texas A&M system. The coming fall it split off from A&M to become Texas State Technical Institute. Saw The Battle of Britain in the old Waco Theater in Downtown Waco. This was before the wave of small twin theaters hit during the early-mid ‘70s. Absolutely love this flick. TFP

Open range had the most realistic gun battle I've seen  Yah, I liked when Kevin Cosner shot his peace maker fourteen times with out reloading. All of the Star Wars movies had good battles.

Saving Private Ryan.
They nailed making the battle scenes as authentic as possible, although the Normandy beaches looked awfully compressed in the movie ... i.e. in the real battle, those poor guys had to trudge much, much farther while under fire to get to the bluffs. It wasn't a short sprint from the dragons teeth obstacles ...
