This is one sweet reel. A special thanks goes out to Mr. AggieGolfer for hooking me up with the opportunity to bust open the doors into my first actual JDM reel. I must say this thing is freaking sweet on a Kistler 7'0 Med Custom Crankbait rod. Hope you enjoy that Sol, bud.

What kind of line is on that? He traded even for a sol?

It's currently got 10lb Big Game on it, but I will probably be throwing 10lb Sunline Sniper on it here soon. And yes he traded evenly for a Sol. I got to admit, the Sol never did look good on a Kistler MG rod. Reminded me of the reverse color pattern of a Curado on a Carrot Stix, lol.

Oh I just noticed the pic was black n white ha! I thought it was some suffix grey or camo or something weird lol. Yah I have a pinnacle xl with the aebc 7 bearing witch is identical to a sol and they are great reels light also but the color is the only off set.

This set up should be great for light drop shots and .5 & 1 series cranks. Hopefully going to get out tomorrow for her maiden voyage. I played with it in the yard for about an hour yesterday pitching a 1/4 jighead across the yard, and I must say it is quite the pitcher. I didn't want anyone to think I was crazy tossing a crankbait down the street, so I'll be saving that for the local pond tomorrow, lol. If this thing casts as well as it pitches, this reel will remain in my possession for a long, long time.

nice reel. I used JDM Scorpion's and Metaniums for a long time before I went to the dark side for swimbait rigs. Now my smallest reel could eat two of those scorpions grin

You'll want to do a cleaning / maintenance every 3-4 months if you use it alot. There's not much metal in them and the plastic gears can fail suddenly if you don't take good care of them.

Thank you for the tips, sir. I don't really fish as much as I would like to due to full time work + college, but I will for sure note this for the summer.
