Those crappie came out of some deep water from the color of them, especially the first pic. I caught a few yesterday that were very light in color as well. Nice to see that alot of our lakes are up. My hole was very murky yesterday and is usually pretty clear. Bite was very slow. May take a few days for things to pick up, but i certainly know it will pick up soon!

got out there at 6:30am, couldn't get a bite no matter what I tried. Gave up and started putting more structure together for the crappie farm. Dunked a SLABMESILLY jig in about 11:15 and caught 1 9" but that was it. Probably wouldn't have caught even the one if it weren't for SLABMESILLY jig, those SLABMESILLY jigs are awesome. Doin' the SLABMESILLY dance banana banana banana

Great job on getting the kid out fishing. My son is finally old enough to get out there with me, he's four. Ive been looking forward to it since he was born. A little warmer weather and he'll be getting his first fish on the hook.
