I wonder what the longest navigable <sp> river is in Texas. Where you can put in and not take out for days or even weeks? Seems like everything is damned up somehwre along the trail.

I would say either the Rio Grande above Amistad or the Trinity from Fort Worth to Lake Livingston. The Devils is the only river that claims to be undamed but it meets the Rio Grande and then quickly goes into Amistad so I'm not sure that really counts, fine line. Devils is only like 60 miles long.

The Brazos is undamed for hundred and 57 miles from Waco to the gulf at Freeport

157 miles undamned. wow, how many days do you think that trip would take, and is it even doable, places to camp, etc. Would love to take amonth and try it.
