Here's one for you. I keep a Telescoping rod/reel in my golf bag. I have gotten in trouble at a few coarses for bringing that bad boy out.

yup, i've got a two piece rod and spinning reel behing my back seat with a small tackle box.

I used to run service all over the place and would stop when i was passing over lakes and eat my lunch and make a few casts on nice days.

i've also been on location and had to wait a few hours for parts to show up and fished when i saw creeks etc close by.

there is always a rod in my truck

I drive a Animal Control Truck and keep a bag of lures and a rod and reel in the back bay for just an occasion. We have a city lake and I stop there on my lunch breaks and catch a few. The looks I get are priceless

I have a crappy two piece baitcasting rod I carry in my truck. It's under the back seat with an assortment of lures in a sack. I've pulled it out on the deer lease, duck hunt, a job, and even on hole 13 at a golf course. Just never know when something might be fishy

I drive a Camry and the backseat is always down because I have a bass rod and my sons rod...my crappie rig...on hand at all times. If the old lady asks where I've been, I tell her that I walked a mile or two at the park. Works every time.

I drive for UPS. My route is very rural, small farming communities. Rock roads and small ponds all day. I've taken lunch and fished before.

404 on a rino rod . 15lb big game. I have a private lake close to the house. I have all that fancy high dollar stuff in the boat . 404 on a rino rod will do the job just about as well . I have dragged a lot of 5lb + fish over a 4ft line of hydrlla through the weeds and to the bank

Always carry a"cheapie" Combo and small tackle bag under back seat of the truck. Never know when you'll get the chance for a short break!

I keep a collapsible rod and small box of lures in the trunk of my car. I work close to DFW and sneak over to Grapevine for lunch on occaision. Sometimes I pack it in my suitcase and take it with me on business trips when I know I'll have some down time. PB on the road is 5.5 on Clearlake in California.
