Every year I fish the sand bass run in the creeks. I've notice that I consistently catch a few small crappie everytime. These aren't crappie hiding in brush. Their out with the white bass and they aren't much longer than a finger. I wonder if they are joining the schools to go up the creeks. Are they confused, do they travel together, or is it nothing?

Might just be following for the purpose of food? Or possibly their are big ones in their mixed in, you just haven't caught one yet. Me and my dad went to Ray Bob acouple of weeks ago and were fishing for crappie and were catching a few and then we caught a few sand bass and then caught a few more crappie. I personally think that they might school together sometimes? Not sure.
