Oh, the warden said it is illegal to tie up to the buoys also. ridiculous, i know, but just want everyone to be aware of the possibility. Common Knowledge not to tie up to a bouy marker....

those pics show what happens when people tie up to them (hence the reason it is against the law) the first pic shows where they are supposed to be. The second pic shows what happens when people tie up to them. They get moved and or broken off because they are not designed to hold the weight of a boat. Common sense would also dictate that the line would extend from the edge buoy to the bank in the arc that the buoys make. If the buoys are moved like the second pic then common sense should dictate that the line would extend from the outer most buoys straight to the bank.

According to Ranger Mike, the warden says the line is from the last buoy to the point (the purple line). That makes no sense. Common sense would say the black line is the actual line. From the last buoy (which is now a white one where the red spot is) to the first fence post. The red circle is where a lot of people fish. Looks like it is outside of the line to me. I'm not saying that the warden is wrong, he should know where the imaginary line is, I'm just saying that if they are going to write tickets then there needs to be something there to signify where the line is so that people will know where they are allowed to fish. Plus, if the line really did go all the way to the point, then why are there no buoys past the first fence post. Even the first picture above shows that there were no buoys past the first fence post.

common sense would dictate that your black line would look equal on both sides instead of dipping way in on the right side. The original buoys are shown to do that in Tracker Tim's first pic. your black line should hit the bank not quite halfway to the purple line. It would make absolutely no sense to think that the buoys on the left are there to keep you a good distance away from the discharge waterfall, but it's ok to sit at the fence post on the right side right where the water is coming out. just my logic though. It's hard for them to keep the buoys exactly where they are supposed to be when folks are tied to them and dragging them out of position.

But, all the way to the point is quite excessive.

We just had our club tourney there yesterday after the cold front. We had 24 fishermen and only 10 legal bass were weighed in. I know we had at least 4 members caught a 7# or better. I caught one 22 1/2" full of eggs. Warmest water that I saw was 62.. Did not fish the discharge..

Rock crawler my apologies, you are absolutely correct. I spoke without the added benefit of having a map in front of me. The boundary limit would be a continuous line from the last buoy to the bank in line with the other buoys...not to the point as I had previously stated. Sorry for the confusion
