I am new to fly fishing thing some questions I have. What flies work the best ? Also how is the fishing up there right know? I asked cause I was going to go to the brazos but got some good info on here about the conditions there. So I was looking to see if the blue would be worth the drive for me

Check with the locals, but the word is that the Blue muddies up pretty good after a rain, so I am guessing it will be blown out for a few days. When I was up there (only once), the go-to flies were olive woolly buggers or others (like the Guadalupana) that mimicked the hellgrammites.
