It didn't rain long yesterday, but it's been cats and dogs most of today.
Every little bit helps.

got right around 2 inches in Huntington today, rayburn rises most with rain up in north east Tx and they didnt get as much as south of us, but I expect it to come up 2.5 to 3 ft in the next week or so from this rain. It is just over 10ft low right now. I bet it gets to 8 by the superbowl

It would be great for it to come up another couple of feet. I just hope they don't let it out as fast as it's running in

Spoke with a local guide out of Zavalla and he said they got about 2.5 inches today. He said Lufkin also got a bunch. Hate to be to optimistic but could you imagine fishing buck brush this spring?!!!??! It seems like so long ago that we were pitching/flipping something in the buck brush or better yet maneuvering through the pine trees during the spawn. And yeah hopefully the corp won't let it out as soon as it gets in.

Don't expect the Corp to start "pulling". They said they were not planning to draw water until March unless the water and lake was going to flood stage. (We are all keeping our fingers crossed too!)

Well that would be great! My wife thinks I'm crazy because every time she looks over at me I'm checking the current lake level. You would think after getting a new prop shaft and fiberglass repaired on the hull after this past year, she to would be interested in the lake coming up. Congrats on yalls champs victory also!

I'd jump all over throwing a spinnerbait in the brush this spring. Lets just hope it keeps coming up. I have property in Rayburn Country and would love to have a good excuse to spend more time doing something other than home improvement.

Yeah that would be great too. I'm sure the bass would enjoy the extra cover also. I see Livingston is full now, haven't checked Toledo today but hopefully it comes up a significant amount too. It's amazing how big of a topic the rain is today.

On this date last year it was 155.90.....today 153.98. It will be fun to watch her rise over the next week.

I still believe they should have worked on more boat ramps while it was so low. They did'nt even touch Harvey Creek ramp.

If you click on the year(s) then move the cursor over the chart it will flag the history of the levels.

According to the Corps website, Harvey is still closed. Launched at Caney a couple of weeks ago and it is horrible. Maybe better now though, water has a came up over a foot since then.

I dont think Harvey is even maintained anymore is it?? Last time I was there, there was a huge hole in the ramp.
