Talk about the lakes coming up. With the 5+ inch rain we just had this is what the local lakes have done IN JUST the last 24 hours.

EM +2.23'

Lake Worth = +2.37'

Joe Pool = +2.9'

And the big winner is--------------------\\

Grapevine = +3.42'

Don't know about the rest of these lakes, but a lot of big shoreline weeds from last summer and now under water on EM so the "big mamas" should be having a big time very soon.

Love to see the increased lake levels but everyone be careful out there, liable to be a lot of hazardous floating stuff too...

So happy to see the levels up! Not to put a damper on things, but you will see a decrease in the levels we have right after the rains.

lewisville is up 2 feet, this will make the pro's work for their money in two weeeks, lewisville does not clear up very fast and is chocolate as far as you can see. Be carefull and watch out for the floaters.

Lake Worth has a lot of floaters as I drove around the lake yesterday and there is still water running like crazy into the lake from Silver Creek and other smaller creeks. Silver Creek was at the top of it's banks yesterday evening.
