i use to have a boat got rid of it for personal reasons, i live in san antonio i fish at calaveras, anyone out here have an extra kayak to show me the ropes on kayak fishing. im really interested in starting this, just wanna get pointers and and ideas. let me know

If you don't hook up with anyone, I would rent a yak on a GTG day and go out with them. Plus you can try out many different yaks before buying, and the rental places could make a great deal on a used one.

off the bank, its been pretty good, but i miss my boat so i have to settle for kayaking which sounds like fun.

You'll be happy...did the same thing. Sold my boat almost two years ago and haven't looked back. I do miss the running and gunning but I'm fishing places I would have over looked with great success.
