What time was that this morning that you went by??? I have heard that there was a vehicle that was parked across Miller Rd from your truck that had a dead body it it. I went by when I heard which was about 10:00 and the police had miller blocked off.

One of my employees dad works for Rowlett PD is how I found out. I have not heard anything else or seen anything on the news.

I drove by on my way to work and saw the truck parked there this morning at around 6:45am. It was an older truck kind of tan in color but it was dark out so I could be wrong. It looked like an suv or a truck with a cover. Thought someone just got stuck in the mud yesterday and left it there.

WRC around Fair Oaks/Walnut Hill/Abrams/Merriman was exactly the same way! In fact, Merriman was blocked off by the tennis courts and Channel 11 was filming the "raging waters", LOL! A beautiful sight to me!!

i wonder what that log jam looks like now... it was pretty bad under the bridge about a month ago, couldnt get my pontoon through it. Bet its all gone by now. along with all the BPs I had marked for crappie

Advance scouting parties in both creeks. I know T-Fly told me by phone last month that he found a lot of small sandies(males for sure)along with BLACK crappie, WAY UP WRC. this rain should bring a lot more, along with a few "curious" as well as pre-spawn feeding females.

Can't wait for water to clear up!
