Every year I live for good ol camping during the White Spawn at Colorado Bend, especially being so close by living in NW Austin. Nothing beats it, being able to camp near the river, go yakking all day up and down the river slamming the whites, hiking upstream to flyfish the rocks, then ending the day at night grilling and camping under the stars, just the best. Even though we got "teased" a bit last night with the rain, it looks like CBSP will not be an option during the run this year. so my question to yall north people where the drought isnt as bad. Is there any good camping places at any rivers where the whites run as good as Bend? I know I will lose the Central Texas scenery and beauty, but at least I'll still get my yakking/fishing/camping fix.
