I am so grateful for the rain. However, my roof developed what appears to be a significant leak last night. Water has gotten into the drywall (both ceiling and walls) as well as base boards, carpet, pad, etc.

I contacted my insurance company this morning. If you are in this line of work, please send me your contact information along with some references in the Plano/Frisco area.

If you have a significant leak and the water has damaged your carpet and base boards have you had a restoration company come out to asses damage on the inside of your home? I assume since you have called your insurance company they advised you to do so. People overlook this sometimes and it's something you need to address ASAP. I work in an agency and if need I know a guy in Frisco that is very good and fair. Wish I'd seen this post on Wed. Good luck getting it all back to where you were before the leak and the process isn't to bad for you.
