on a more serious note. if you look at any terrain map for the tyler area you see there is a line that runs just west of tyler down to bullard and towards new summerfield/troup. This is part of the angelina river basin. All things west of that line go into lake Palestine for the Neches river basin. Therefore unless chicago bridge and iron put pipes under their pretty ponds to lake Palestine there is no way that water will make its way to Palestine. (dammit mr. taylor see why i dont get on here anymore!)

Last time I heard, water still runs downhill. Follow the terrain and it will show where the water runs.

Except in certain isolated instances (and I don't know any) gravity rules.

Well that dont make you smarter than me.... And I didn't even go to a 4-year college!!

Black Fork Creek starts in the neighbor just 2 blocks to the East of Clarkston. There is also a creek that flows under the parking lot of the strip mall behind BK and Mc D's that starts at the CB&I offices. All these flow NW right through the middle of the refinery and cross the north loop by the scrap plant.

How much down and what kind of payments can I axpect???

I know that very little of the water that falls east of the
lake ( I don't know where the line is exactly ) goes
east.

Lake Palestine has a very small watershed compared to
some other lakes of its size. Really don't know why
it stays as full as it does.

you go a little north = sabine , west = trinity , east =
angelina.

Ran needs to fall in the Edom, Ben Wheeler area for it
to do the most good for Palestine.

there is a pasture on FM 314 just south of interstate 20
where you can see the headwaters of the Neches, you can step across it and it is usually dry.
