Anyone ever seen one of these? I have seen quite a few of them and saw one not to long ago. Was this acutally a production truck or is it a Tacoma with an aftermarket set up? They are all like 80's model body styles. Weird consept, why not just buy a bigger truck?

They were production models. Uhaul had some box trucks and some were used for motorhomes. Minnie Winnie I think was one. All the ones I've seen were pre-Tacoma years though.

I had a 93 model in my shop last week. It was rated as a 1 ton

must not have caught on very well, cause i dont see them very often. Very weird looking.

I had one with the service body bed on it back in the mid 80's at one of the mechanical contractors (HVAC) I worked for as a service tech. Loaded down with tools, refrigerant, oxy act rig and bottles, ladders etc. it wouldn't hardly get out of it's own way taking off required a head start and stopping you had to think about it way in advance.
