Just curious what everyone's favorite bait is for bed fishing. My personal favorite is a 6" zoom watermelon seed lizard w/chartruese tail. Carolina rigged.

I prefer a jig but have caught them off of beds on a plethora of baits.

Tube for me.....no question. T-rigged weightless or on a 16th oz swimbait hook depending on depth/wind/visability

It's not the bait! it's more about the spot on the bed that
gets them going Often though a swimbait will make them go crazy no matter what spot in the nest you throw it on. I think it mimics a competitive deal myself. a lot of bed fishing swimbait bites are vicious as well.

Different fish different baits... I have some custom pink craws being made now that I love and then again a mattlures ultimate Gill is a beast that produces fish like No other. Also not a stereotypical bed bait but throw a frog or a punker over their heads and watch what happens

I like a shallow crank, lipless crank, or soft swimbait. I have more luck throwing baits at spawning area than trying to "bed fish."

I have never thrown a swimbait on a bedding bass before, do you swim it buy or do you just throw it in there and jig it?
