I knew it was going to be a good day for fishing. The first fish of the day was a fattie (hybrid) over 5 lbs 14oz; next 6 lbs.04oz. Game on! The sandies were coming in the boat as fast as we good hook them. We moved to another location, game on again with fatties and sandies. It slowed down a bit and no birds were in the air. After moving to another location, our guide found the fish again. It was fast and furious fishing action. I finally had a chance to throw the umbrella rig out a few times, but no hits. Been to RC several times this year and every trip was better than the one before. Our last trip there was the best big Sandbass catching I have ever had. The only boat we saw on the lake was Gone Fishin' and he offered up a hot spot to fish. Too bad more folks don't get down there, really nice lake.
