How do you rig a carolina rigged jig? Probably just like it sounds?

Yes Sir. I'm using 10 lb. line, put a 1/4 oz. bullet weight i like brass, then a small swivel,,then a 10 to 14 inch 10 lb. leader & attach your jig to it with a loop knot.Fish it vertical just off the bottom ussaully 1 1/2 to 2 cranks off the bottom. It really keeps the bait under you especailly on the windier days. Most electronic's will pick up both the weight and the jig under the boat & you can actually see the bait going up and down under the boat.Hope this helps you all...Now Go to Catch'in!

Yes,,,You drop the bait down with a short pitch, allow it to hit bottom watching your line when it stops.Your on bottom then just reel it up 2 cranks and hold it.That Easy, when you feel the tap sit the hook hard & Fast! Then reel up your fish 1.2.3...lol One other tip hold your rod tip down towards the water, that way when you get a bite you can get a much better hook set.
