Tom Cronquist, a local Dallas paddler has organized what is named "The 1st Annual Independent Swap Meet", on January 28th from 8:00 - 1:00 on Mariner Sail's parking lot at 11110 N. Stemmons Freeway Dallas, 75229. (Go to Mariner's website www.mariner-sails.com for a map and directions.)

Preferred items for the swap meet include: kayaks, canoes, kayak accessories, fishing gear/accessories, camping gear/accessories, trailers, and travel gear, or whatever your creative mind wants to bring and sell.

RULES:
1. You may bring items to sell from any of the above categories, or, anything else that you might want to bring.
2. Selling spaces are free of charge to individuals and are available on a first come - first served basis.
3. Arrive at 6:00 a.m. to get your space and be set up and ready by 8:00 a.m. for shoppers.
4. You are limited to a maximum of two parking lanes, approximately 8.5' X 16' each.
5. Bring your own tables charis, canopies, cash for making change, etc. Mariner will not make change.
6. You will be responsible for your own area and sales transactions. All transactions, products, implied warranties, etc., are on a one-on-one basis between you and your seller/buyer. Mariner Sails will not be involved in any disputes.
7. Mariner Sails is NOT an organizer or sponsor of the event. We are only extending the courtest of providing a part of our parking lot for this event. Mariner Sails will not be liable for any problems, incidents, or accidents.

Tom's big dream is to make this a regular event for our local water sports community. Please give him and our community your support by attending and either bringing items to sell or finding a bargain.

Unless it is sold prior to the swap meet, I do know of one person who is bringing an interesting package. His package consists of a less than two year old Mini-X, paddle, and Malone Trailer at a very good price.

He is now a new father and wants to spend every possible moment with his new child.

We're pulling out several available demo yaks and some new previous year's models, including a new 2011 spruce Ride and new spruce Tarpon 140. Gonna get agressive while Aris is out of town and set up some good pricing.

I need to swing down the to get ram stuff to mount my transducer. Looks like I'll be checking out the parking lot too.
