i live in the upper water shed area for ray bob and its pouring hard and has been for awhile. The creeks are on the rise fast. its lookin good

Just saw the news. They say most of North Texas has 2-4 inches of rain on top of what we have already had! Awesome news! And some heavy rain has caused minor flooding. Fill up the creeks so they fill up the lakes!

Wow, the mother of all rain storms here in the Sherman/Denison area.

It's 2:30 a.m. (I'm up thanks to the last thunderstorm that rolled through) and it has been one round of storms and heavy rain after another since about 7 p.m. And according to the radar, there is more on the way.

Radar estimates show as much 5-6" has fallen in an area of NW Grayson County. And a good 2-4" inches has fallen over most of the county in the past 12 hours.

Lake Texoma and Lake Ray Roberts will likely go from below normal to above normal in a couple of days. And I bet Lewisville is going to shoot up too.

We've had some rain in Texarkana, but not a lot yet. By the looks of the radar, all that rain in central texas is going to drift this way today. We need it BAD. My private lake is 4 feet low....

Lake Granbury will be full when this is all said and done..Old fart at the office said his gauge showed 7inches at 6am and its still raining.I have to work outside all day and I'm going to smile the entire time.

"Glad to see this steady soaker rain we are getting. Our guage here at the Lewisville office recorded 3.84" in the last 24 hours. During that same timespan Lewisville Lake rose almost a foot (current elevation 517.21') and Ray Roberts rose a little over 3/4 of a foot (current elevation 628.82')."

Woke up to a little over an inch in the rain gauge just outside of Abilene. Really wish we were getting what you boys in the metroplex are getting but we will take whatever we get.

Man oh Man it is pouring down in Sulphur Springs and whats great about that we are in the Lake Fork water shead. Keep it comming Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!
